Mon. March 20th – The History of Collage
Collages can be created from a range of materials, though most are made of paper and feature cut-and-pasted photographs, painted forms and ephemera. As more modern artists began exploring the practice throughout the early 20th century, these mediums became more varied and increasingly experimental. Today, the practice of collage is enjoying a resurgence.
Tues. March 21st – Storytelling with Collage
Tell a story in papers, photos, and other items collected from your world. Capture the textures and colours of your personal memories through your own creative expressions.
Thurs. March 23rd – Contemporary Collage
Discover exciting, fresh and inspirational collage ideas from artists around the world. Try your hand at a Springtime Collage Post Card and send it to a friend or family member.. New ideas will inspire people of all ages and abilities.
Fri. March 24th – Mixed Media Collage
Mixed Media Collage is the combination of two or more artistic mediums on one surface. Instead of just paint or ink drawing, you might create something that combines paint, ink, paper and fabric in surprising new ways! Itʼs a lot of fun for all skill levels.
