Join Nicole Dalmer for a program that is the first of its kind; focussing exclusively on the creation of zines. Zines are non-commercial, non-professional publications. Like a magazine, but with a twist. Created from the interest and passion of the writers, they are often self-published. Participants are invited to think about a topic that interests them (hobbies, memories, family traditions, vacations, etc.) and will be asked to bring assorted items or trinkets (photographs, news clippings, etc.) that connect to that topic. Participants will be introduced to paper folding and collage techniques, and other zine principles to create their own zine. Register online, by telephone or in person.
