As baby boomers age over the coming decades, the proportion of seniors will increase rapidly. According to the medium-growth scenario of the most recent projections, seniors (65+) could account for close to 25% of the population by the end of the 2030s.
Each year, Creative Age volunteers help out with projects and programs around the community.
This year, Museum London is hosting a National Seniors Day Symposium and banquet, funded by New Horizons for Seniors Canada and co-sponsored by London Public Library and London Creative Age Network.
Museum London is recruiting volunteers (adults 50+) as advisors and to help out with National Seniors’ Day October 1st event planning meetings.The next volunteer meeting is July 6th 2pm at Museum London in the Rhino Cafe. Commitment: only 4 – 2 hour meetings.
