Memory Box Project

Creative Age volunteers are pleased our “Memory Box” Pilot Project has been extended to accommodate the outstanding requests from seniors independent apartment residents and area social housing communities.

The Memory Box Project is hosted by Museum London and funded by New Horizons for Seniors Canada. This month we’re visiting the seniors at the London Community Housing buildings.

Each Memory Box contains artifacts, memorabilia, music and photos to spark enjoyable memories of days gone by.

Reminiscence group discussions are enjoyable social pastimes allowing individuals to share memories and connect through shared experiences. The boxes and reminiscence sessions can be organized by contacting Kathy Smith – We’ll explore how we support the goals and interests of your group and organization.
