Creative Age volunteers are pleased the “Memory Box” Pilot Project has been extended to accommodate the outstanding requests from seniors independent apartment residents and area social housing communities.
The Memory Box Project is hosted by Museum London and funded by New Horizons for Seniors Canada. This month we’re visiting the good folks at the London Social Housing Seniors’ Buildings.
Each Memory Box contains artifacts, memorabilia, music and photos to spark enjoyable memories of days gone by. Reminiscence group discussion is an enjoyable social pastime allowing individuals to share memories and connect through shared experiences. The boxes and reminiscence sessions can be organized by contacting Kathy Smith @firstname.lastname@example.org.
